Discretionary Income: What’s Your Number?

"Should I be trading currencies or derivatives in today’s market climate? " I usually answer the question with a question, "Well that depends… what is your discretionary income number?" Are Banks Safe? Already 25 Closed this Year!

On Friday March 5, 2010, regulators took over three more banks to bring the number to 25 for the year.  At this rate we are on track to exceed the 2009 total of 140 bank failures.  It hasn’t been this bad since the S&L crisis of the early 1990s.
