Washington Underestimates Unemployment Rate at 10%
February 25th, 2010 by thewealthrebelThe White House announced today that the unemployment rate climbed to 10%. Hey, Washington, I got news for you it’s more like 20%. If you count all the people who no longer qualify for unemployment benefits and the under-employed you’re double the 10%.
When are we going to learn that our leaders can’t add or grasp simple economics? We don’t need billions of our tax dollars going to government officials and federal agencies where that money never sees the light of day. We need to motivate and stimulate businesses and corporations in this country to expand and hire more people.
By investing in the true employer of the people, small business, we will make both positive and fundamental changes to our economy. Having our leaders in Washington voting themselves pay raises while the nation is in the grips of a recession and unemployment climbs is insane. Come midterm elections in November we need to send a loud and clear message "fix the problem or find another line of work". Join the Rebellion!
